Agent: SD007Code name: Violet
Mission: Complete Eradication
Protocol: Subversive tactics
Subversion was the only way. Violet remembered with such clarity attempting to reason with them. Communication was hopeless. She would wait until dark when the residents were in their houses for the night. By morning it would be over and they wouldn’t know what hit them.
As the hours passed Violet watched each house go dark one by one. It was time. She submerged herself in the water bringing the heavy device with her. Taking a deep breath she went down into the depths seating it at the deepest part. Feeling like her lungs would burst; she pushed herself back to the surface and clung to the side. It was in and ready.
Cautiously Violet laid the tube to its length. Panic hit when she realized it wasn’t long enough! She had under-estimated the distance of the target. She took a deep breath. She could easily do this even in the pitch blackness! She just needed to think quickly.
She snuck back to base camp and gathered 100ft more tubing, 2 couplings, then jammed the length of tubing together. Pulling the tubing behind her, she went over the crest of the hill looking for the primary marker.
At the base of the hill the sound of a door opening pierced the dead quiet. One of the residents had heard her! She ducked behind a car. He turned on his porch light and stared out into the darkness. She set frozen afraid to even breathe. He looked in all directions, then turned and went back into his house. He hadn’t seen her.
The tube was ready and directed. She scrambled back to base camp. Complete Eradication was a go!
She set by the controls and counted the beats of her heart. Slowly she flipped the switch and listened to device come to life. It blasted through the tube into the street and down the hill, settling to a steady stream.
She watched for the any signs of life. The brief disturbance hadn’t woken them. It was done and nothing but quiet remained. Success! It had begun.
And in the morning- her pool was drained, the street was dry and her cranky neighbors were none the wiser.

I know! Pretty silly but my fellow pool owners will understand! That’s the way I spent Sunday night. And Whew-whooooooo! My pool is now scrubbed, refilled and ready for summer- without one of my complaining neighbor in my business.

Ever go to subversive tactics to avoid problems with the neighbors?
